Trust & safety

Organization Verification

Verification helps protect residents and strengthens trust across the Unity Portal network. A listing is not published until an administrator confirms that the organization is legitimate, has an authorized representative, and provides services relevant to the community.

What we may review

  • Organization name and type
  • Physical location and service area
  • Identity and role of the primary contact
  • Official website or public social-media presence
  • Official email address or organizational letterhead
  • State or federal registration when applicable
  • Nonprofit or tax-exempt information when applicable
  • Church affiliation or confirmation from an authorized church leader
  • Programs, services, and eligibility requirements
  • Agreement to Unity Portal's privacy and conduct requirements

Service area

Unity Portal serves Bell County, Texas, with its initial verified-partner rollout centered in Killeen. Public resources may be viewed by anyone. During the pilot phase, organization accounts are available to churches and nonprofits located in or directly serving Killeen. Organizations elsewhere in Bell County may be approved by invitation or through special review as the network expands.

Verification confirms an organization's identity and stated connection to the community. It does not guarantee the availability, quality, licensing, safety, or outcome of any service.
